كان كيفين رجلاً جشعاً وانانياً جدا وكان هدفه في الحياة ان يجمع الكثير من المال، وكان يسرق الناس ويخدعهم  للحصول على أموالهم

Kevin was a very greedy and selfish man, his goal in life was to collect a lot of money, and he was stealing people and tricking them to get their money.

وذات يوم تعلم كيفين درس غير حياته للابد عندما ضاعت حقيبته التي تحتوى على 50 قطعة من العملات الذهبية، بحث كيفين كثيراً عن الحقيبة وسأل الاصدقاء والجيران ولكنه لم يجدها

One day Kevin learned a lesson that changed his life forever when his bag that contained 50 pieces of gold coins was lost, Kevin searched a lot for the bag and asked friends and neighbors, but he didn't find it.

طرق الرجل الجشع على كل باب في القرية وقال لهم اذا وجد احدكم حقيبتي الضائعة سأعطيه مكافاة كبيرة، بعد أيام عثرت طفلة صغيرة على الحقيبة فأخذتها الى والدها بائع الخضار الفقير

The greedy man knocked on every door in the village and told them if someone found my lost bag, I would give him a big reward. Days later, a little girl found the bag and took it to her father, the poor vegetable seller.

 فتح والد الفتاة الشنطة فوجد بداخلها 50 عملة ذهبية ، قرر الرجل إعادة الشنطة الى كيفين دون ان يأخذ أي قطعة منها على الرغم من فقره الشديد

The girl’s father opened the bag and found 50 gold coins inside. The man decided to return the bag to Kevin without taking any piece of it, despite his extreme poverty.

وبالفعل أعاد الرجل الحقيبة الى كيفين الذى كان سعيداً جدا لاستعادة عملاته الذهبية، وبدلا من أن يكافئه علي أمانته قال له: كان يوجد في الحقيبة 75 قطعة ذهبية وانت أعطيتني الحقيبة بها 50 قطعة فقط فأين باقي العملات الذهبية التي سرقتها!

 Indeed, the man returned the bag to Kevin, who was very happy to recover his gold coins, and instead of rewarding him for his honesty, he told him: There were 75 gold pieces in the bag and you gave me the bag with only 50 pieces, so where are the rest of the gold coins that you stole!

اصيُب بائع الخضار بصدمة كبيرة وقال له اقسم بحياة ابنتي إنني لم اخذ أي شيء من الحقيبة، ولكن قام كيفين بتكذيب الرجل امام الناس وقرر رفع القضية الى قاضى القرية ليحكم بينهم

  The vegetable seller was very shocked and told him I swear on my daughter's life that I didn't take anything from the bag, but Kevin lied about the man in front of the people and decided to take the case to the village judge to judge among them.

ذهب الرجل الجشع والرجل الفقير وسكان القرية إلى القاضي، فسأل القاضي الابنة الصغيرة وابيها ما عدد العملات الذهبية التي عثرتوا عليها في الحقيبة، فأكدوا انها كانت 50 قطعة

The greedy man, the poor man, and the villagers went to the judge, and the judge asked the daughter and her father how many gold coins they found in the bag, they confirmed that it was 50 pieces.

وعندما سأل القاضي الرجل الجشع قال له كان يوجد 75 قطعة ذهبية في حقيبتي وهما أعطوني 50 فمن المؤكد أنهم سرقوا 25 قطعة من الحقيبة

And when the judge asked the greedy man, he told him there were 75 gold pieces in my bag, and they gave me 50, so they certainly stole 25 pieces from the bag.

سأل القاضي الرجل الجشع مرة اخرى هل انت متأكد ان حقيبتك تحتوي على 75 عملة ذهبية ؟ فقال الرجل الجشع بصوت عالي نعم كان بها 75 قطعة وانا اريد حقي الان !

The judge asked the greedy man once again, "Are you sure your bag contains 75 gold coins?" The greedy man replied loudly, "Yes, it had 75 pieces, and I want my right now!"

بعد ذلك أصدر القاضي حكمه وقال الحقيبة التي ضاعت من كيفين تحتوى على 75 قطعة ذهبية بينما الحقيبة التي وجدتها الفتاة الصغيرة تحتوى على 50 قطعة لا غير فمن الواضح ان هذه الحقيبة لا تخص كيفين وبما ان لا يوجد بلاغ لدينا بضياع 50 قطعة ذهبية فهذه الحقيبة الان تخص الفتاة الصغيرة ووالدها وبالفعل امر القاضي بأخذ الحقيبة من كيفين وإعطائها للرجل الفقير وابنته.

After that, the judge issued his ruling and said the bag that was lost from Kevin contains 75 gold pieces, while the bag that the little girl found contains only 50 pieces. It is clear that this bag doesn't belong to Kevin, and since we don't have a report of 50 gold coins missing, this bag now belongs to the little girl and her father. Indeed, the judge ordered to take the bag from Kevin and give it to the poor man and his daughter.

The Hungry Mouse Story

كان الفأر جائعاً جدا وبحث كثيراً عن طعام ليأكله وفي النهاية وجد سلة مليئة بالذرة وبها فتحة صغيرة، دخل الفار من الفتحة وأكل الكثير من الذرة وظل يستمتع بالأكل لمدة يوم كامل

The mouse was very hungry and searched a lot for food to eat and at the end, he found a basket full of corn with a small hole, the mouse entered through the hole, ate a lot of corn, and enjoyed eating for a whole day.

وكان الفار سعيداً لأنه اخيراً شعر بالشبع، وعندما انتهي الفار من الاكل حاول الخروج من السلة لكنه لم يستطيع لان بطنه اصبحت كبيرة لأنه أكل الكثير من الذرة

The mouse was happy because he finally felt full, and when the mouse finished eating, he tried to get out of the basket, but he couldn't, because his stomach became big because he ate a lot of corn.

بعد قليل مر أرنب بجانب السلة وسمع الفار يبكى فساله لماذا تبكى يا صديقي ، قال له الفار: لأنني لا استطيع الخروج من الثقب الذى في السلة

After a while, a rabbit passed by the side of the basket and heard the mouse crying, so he asked him why are you crying, my friend. The mouse said to him: Because I can't get out of the hole in the basket.

فقال له الارنب: اسمعني جيدًا هذا بسبب لأنك اكلت كثيراً فيجب عليك أن تنتظر حتى تهضم الطعام الذى اكلته وتصبح نحيف مرة أخري عندئذ تستطيع الخروج ثم بعد ذلك ذهب الارنب بعيداً

The rabbit said to him: Listen to me well. This is because you ate too much, you have to wait until you digest the food you ate and become skinny again. Then you can go out, and then the rabbit went away.

نام الفار في السلة وفى صباح اليوم التالي اصبحت بطنه اصغر ورجع الفار نحيف مرة اخرى واصبح لديه فرصة عظيمة للخروج ولكنه للأسف تراجع عن فكرة الخروج من السلة واكل كل الذرة التي في السلة

The mouse slept in the basket, and on the next morning his belly got smaller and the mouse became thin again and had a great opportunity to get out, but unfortunately, he withdrew from the idea of getting out of the basket and ate all the corn in the basket.

أصبحت بطن الفأر كبيرة مرة أخري ، فحاول الخروج من السلة لكنه فشل فقال سأنام واخرج غداً، ولكن بعد قليل مرت قطة بجانب السلة وعندما شمت رائحة الفأر رفعت الغطاء وأكلته.

The mouse's belly became large again, so he tried to get out of the basket, but he failed and said: I will sleep and go out tomorrow, but after a short while, a cat passed by the side of the basket and when she smelled the mouse she lifted the lid and ate it.

The Lazy King Story

قديماً كان يوجد مملكة صغيرة يحكمها ملك كريم لكنه كان كسول جدا لا يفعل شيء سوي الاكل والنوم

In the past, there was a small kingdom ruled by a generous king, but he was very lazy, doing nothing but to eat and sleep.

كان هذا الملك طيب القلب ويحب شعبه ولكن كان الشعب حزين منه بسبب كسله الشديد، وبسبب كسله اصبح الملك سمين جدا لدرجة انه لم يستطيع تحريك جسده من السرير، فسخر منه اعدائه ولقبوه بالملك السمين

This king was kind-hearted and love his people, but the people were sad about him because of his extreme laziness, and because of his laziness, the king became so fat that he couldn't move his body from the bed, His enemies mocked him and called him the fat king.

ذات يوم دعا الملك كل اطباء المملكة ووعدهم بمكافآت كبيرة مقابل استعادة لياقته وصحته مرة اخرى لكن فشل الاطباء في مساعدة الملك وظل الملك سمين

One day, the king invited all the kingdom's doctors and promised them great rewards in return for regaining his fitness and health again, but the doctors failed to help the king and the king remained fat.

امر الملك الوزير بإحضار الراهب المقدس الذى يعيش في صحراء المملكة لعلاجه ، ذهب الوزير لإحضار الراهب ولكن الراهب اخبره انه لم يستطيع ترك الصحراء لأنه راهب وطلب من الوزير ان يحضر الملك إليه حتى يقوم باستعادة لياقته وصحته مرة اخرى

The king ordered the minister to bring the holy monk who lives in the desert of the kingdom to treat him, the minister went to bring the monk but the monk told him that he couldn't leave the desert because he is a monk and asked the minister to bring the king to him Until he regains his fitness and health again.

ذهب الوزير إلى الملك ونصحه بأن يذهب إلى الرجل المقدس وبالفعل ذهب الملك إلى الصحراء لمقابلة الراهب، وعندما قابل الملك الراهب المقدس قال له الراهب انه حاكم جيد وانه سيستعيد صحته بعد شهر ولكن عليه ان ينفذ ما يطلبه منه

The minister went to the king and advised him to go to the holy man. Indeed, the king went to the desert to meet the monk, and when the king met the holy monk, the monk told him that he was a good ruler and that he would recover after a month, but he has to do what he asks him to do.

وبالفعل وعده الملك بتنفيذ جميع طلباته، بعد ذلك طلب الراهب من الملك ان يعود الى قصره سيراً على الاقدام ويأتي إليه في اليوم التالي سيراً على الاقدام، حزن الملك من هذا الطلب الصعب لكنه لم يستطيع الرفض بسبب وعده

Indeed, the king promised him to carry out all his requests. After that, the monk asked the king to return to his palace on foot and come to him the next day on foot.The king was sad about this difficult request, but he couldn't refuse because of his promise.

لم يكن الملك قادراً على المشي ولكن بمساعدة اتباعه وصل الى القصر لكنه كان مرهقاً للغاية، وفى اليوم التالي ذهب الملك إلى مكان الراهب سيراً على الاقدام كما وعده

The king wasn't able to walk, but with the help of his followers, he arrived at the palace, but he was very tired, and on the next day, the king went to the place of the monk on foot as he had promised.

فى هذا اليوم طلب الراهب من الملك ان لا يأكل لحوم لمدة شهر وان يلتزم بالأكل النباتي واضافة الى ذلك طلب منه ان يأتي إليه كل يوم لمدة شهر سيراً على الاقدام ووعده بعد مرور شهر سيصبح جسمه مثالي ويستعيد صحته ولياقته الجسدية مرة اخرى

On this day the monk asked the king not to eat meat for a month and commit to vegetarian food. In addition, he asked him to come every day for a month on foot and promised him after a month his body would become perfect and regain his health and physical fitness again.

 التزم الملك بكلام الراهب وبعد اقل من شهر استعاد صحته مرة اخرى وكان جميع سكان المملكة سعداء بالملك لأنه انتصر على الكسل ومنذ هذه اللحظة اصبح الطعام النباتي وممارسة الرياضة اسلوب حياة بالنسبة للملك وسكان المملكة ايضاً.

The king committed to the monk’s words, and after less than a month, he regained his health again, and all the inhabitants of the kingdom were happy with the king because he had triumphed over laziness, and from this moment vegetarian food and exercise became a way of life for the king and the inhabitants of the kingdom as well.

 

قال غاندي

 الصحة هي الثروة الحقيقية وليس قطعة من الذهب والفضة.

It is health which is real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver.

A Story of The Family or Money

عاش رجل اعمال ناجح مع زوجته وابنه الذي كان طفل صغير يبلغ من العمر 10 سنوات فقط, كان هذا الرجل يحب العمل جدا ومشغول به للغاية ولم يقضى أي وقت مع ابنه وزوجته

A successful businessman lived with his wife and son who is only 10 years old, this man loved the work very much and was busy with his work a lot and he didn't spend any time with his son and wife.

هذا الرجل كان يعمل لمدة 16 ساعة في اليوم حتى في أيام الإجازة كان يجلس في البيت ويتابع العمل بالتليفون فكان لا يعطى أي اهتمام لابنه وزوجته، ذات يوم فوجئ الطفل عندما رأى والده في المنزل

This man worked 16 hours a day, even on vacation days he was sitting at home following work on the phone, so he didn't give any attention to his son and his wife. One day the child was surprised when he saw his father at home.

 
فقال له: ابى انا سعيد جداً لأنك ستقضى اليوم معنا

He said to him: Dad, I am very happy that you will spend the day with us

قال الاب: تم إلغاء اجتماعي لكن يجب ان اذهب بعد 30 دقيقية إلى المطار حتى ألحق بالطائرة

The father said: My meeting has been canceled, but I have to go after 30 minutes to the airport to catch the plane

حزن الإبن ثم سأل والده: أبى كم تربح في السنة؟

The son grieved, then asked his father: Dad, how much do you earn in a year?

تفاجئ الاب وقال لابنه: انه مبلغ كبير من المال لم تستطيع فهمه

The father was surprised and said to his son: It is a large sum of money that you can't understand

قال الابن: حسناً ابى، هل انت سعيد بالمبلغ الذى تكسبه؟

The son said: Well Dad, are you happy with the amount you earn?

قال الاب: نعم ابنى انا سعيد جداً وقريباً سأفتتح فرع جديد لشركتنا

The father said: Yes, my son, I am very happy and soon I will open a new branch of our company

فرح الابن لسماع ذلك وقال لأبيه: يمكنني ان اطرح عليك سؤال اخير؟

The son rejoiced to hear that and said to his father: Can I ask you one last question?

 

قال الاب: نعم عزيزي لكن اسرع حتى لا اتأخر عن الطائرة

The father said: Yes dear, but hurry up so I won't be late for the flight

سأله الابن وقال: كم تربح في الشهر؟

The son asked him and said: How much do you earn in a month?

 رد الاب: حوالى 30 ألف دولار

Father's response: about $ 30,000

اسرع الطفل إلى غرفته واحضر الحصالة الخاصة به وقال لأبيه ابى انت تكسب 30 الف دولار في الشهر، أي 1000 دولار يومياً، أي حوالى 41 دولار في الساعة هذه الحصالة بها 80 دولار انا لا احتاجهم من الممكن ان تأخذهم مقابل ساعتين من وقتك غداً حتى نخرج انا وانت وأمي ونتناول العشاء معاً

The child rushed to his room and brought his money box and said to his father: Dad, you earn $30,000 a month, $1000 a day, about $41 an hour. This money box has $80 I don't need them, You can take them in exchange for two hours of your time tomorrow so that I, you and my mother can go out and have dinner together.

كان الاب صامتاً وادرك ان اعظم هدية يمكن ان يقدمها لابنه وزوجته هي الوقت وليس المال، حضن الاب ابنه ونادى على زوجته التي كانت تراقب من بعيد واعتذر لهم وقال من اليوم سأعود مبكراً من العمل وسأتناول العشاء معكم يومياً، وكل اسبوع سنخرج معاً الى مكان مختلف وأوعدكم إنني لن اعمل في يوم الاجازة مرة اخرى لان هذا اليوم من الآن فصاعداً مخصص لنا احنا الثلاثة فقط.

The father was silent and realized that the greatest gift he could present to his son and his wife is time and not money. The father embraced his son and called for his wife who was watching from afar and apologized to them and said from today I will return early from work and I will have dinner with you daily, and every week we will go out together to a different place and I promise you I will not work on vacation day again because this day from now on is dedicated to only the three of us.

A Story of The Tree And The Two Travelers

قديماً كان يوجد شجرة كبيرة لها اغصان كثيرة وكانت الشجرة مأوى لآلاف المسافرين لأنها كانت تقع بالقرب من اربع مدن فكانت نقطة التقاء مثالية لراحة المسافرين

Once upon a time, there was a large tree with many branches, and the tree was a shelter for thousands of travelers because it was located near four cities, and it was an ideal meeting point to rest for the travelers.

في أحد الايام المشمسة الحارة وصل مسافران الى الشجرة بعد مدة مشى طويلة وعلى الرغم ان المسافران كانوا منهكين للغاية لكنهم كانوا سعداء لانهم وجدوا الشجرة الكبيرة

 On one hot sunny day, two travelers arrived at the tree after a long walk, and although the two travelers were very exhausted, they were happy because they found the big tree.

جلس المسافران تحت الشجرة واستمتعوا بالظل البارد والنسيم العليل وذهبوا إلي النوم وعندما استيقظوا بعد نوم عميق كان احدهما يشعر بالجوع فنظر إلى الشجرة باحثاً عن الفاكهة لكنه لم يجد أي فاكهة في الشجرة

The two travelers sat under the tree and enjoyed the cool shade and the gentle breeze.They went to sleep and when they woke up after a deep sleep, one of them was feeling hungry and looked at the tree looking for fruit, but he didn't find any fruit in the tree.

بدأ المسافر  يلعن الشجرة ويقول هذه الشجرة ليس لها أي فائدة لأنها لا تحتوى على أي نوع فاكهة، حاول المسافر الآخر تهدئة المسافر الجائع لكنه لم يتوقف عن إهانة الشجرة

The traveler started cursing the tree and saying this tree has no benefit because it doesn't contain any kind of fruit, The other traveler tried to calm the hungry traveler, but he didn't stop insulting the tree.

لم تستطيع الشجرة تحمل هذه الكلمات فقالت له بصوت حزين:

The tree couldn't bear these words and said to him in a sad voice:

يجب عليك ان تشكرني لان عندما وصلتوا الى هنا كنتوا مرهقون جدا وكادت الشمس الحارة ان تقتلكم، لقد قدمت لكم مكان رائع ومريح للنوم والاسترخاء فلولا فعلت ذلك لكنتم ميتين الان فبدلاً من ان تشكرني تهينني !

You should thank me because when you arrived here you were very exhausted and the hot sun almost killed you. I have provided you a wonderful and comfortable place to sleep and relax, if I don't do that, you would be dead now, so instead of thanking me, you insult me!

وبعد ان انهت الشجرة كلامها أدرك المسافر خطأه واعتذر للشجرة التي انقذتهم من الموت.

After the tree finished its words, the traveler realized his mistake and apologized to the tree that saved them from death.
